Introduction

Business Process Technical Officer in the Finance and Administrative Processes Department (FAP), Treasury, Processes and Reporting Group (TPR), Monitoring and Reporting Section (MI).

You will join:

.In the Treasury, Processes & Reporting Group, the Monitoring & Reporting Section supports the management based on HR and procurement-related as well as financial data, provides reporting support for the administrative sectors (statistics, planning, analysis and Key Performance Indicators), manages the website for the administrative sector and provides computing expertise.

Functions

As a Business Process Technical Officer, you will work in the Monitoring and Reporting Section, you will liaise with different internal clients at various levels in order to provide customer service related to business processes. This will include:

.Project management: defining the milestones (scope, time frame etc.) in projects related to business processes and reporting regularly to the supervisor on project status.

.Designing new business processes.

.Identifying areas to streamline business processes wherever possible.

.Defining and documenting the needs of the various users.

.Providing a high level of service to customers and giving regular updates to key clients.

.Accompanying and supporting end users during major changes in business processes.

.Liaising with the Administrative Information Systems Group (AIS) within the FAP Department in order to transfer knowledge between software developers and business customers.

.Reporting.

Qualification required

Bachelor in the field of Information technology or Business management, or equivalent.*

Experience and competencies

The experience required for this post is:

.Extensive experience in project management in IT related projects.

.Extensive experience in working for end user clients.

.English or French: spoken and written with the ability to draw up technical texts. The ability to understand and speak the other language in professional contexts would be an advantage.

Note on Employment Conditions

We offer a limited-duration contract for a period of 5 years. Limited-duration contracts shall terminate by default on their date of expiry. Subject to certain conditions, holders of limited-duration contracts may apply for an indefinite position.
