Company Profile: Growing global Commodity Trading house, active in grains (corn) and oilseeds and vegoils markets, based in Geneva. Position: Senior Research Analyst - Corn, oilseeds/vegoil (biofuel - Ethanol) Key responsibilities: The Analyst will be responsible to feed, develop and analyse global supply& demand models in Corn, vegoils and biofuels markets (deriving from Corn). The analyst will develop and maintain global industrial margins/ economic dashboard. He will manage the relation to the traders, in order to influence trading strategies, by developing fundamental analysis, prices analysis, providing regular market analysis and develop forecasting model. The Analyst is in charge constantly developing and optimizing sources of information. He will be in particular in charge to develop new model based on risk management. Candidate profile: Degree in Economics, Finance, Agriculture, Engineering or related fields with an emphasis in statistics. 5 years + Experience in soft commodities CORN, vegoils and biofuel markets. IT skills: the candidate must master excel and VBA. Strong statistical analytical skills (a test is mandatory) English language. Others are an asset.
