Arbeitsbeschreibung:
Prepare and participate in the construction of fast pulsed system (special magnets, high voltage pulse generators and hydraulic systems) in operation and for the upgrade of the CERN injector chain. Define circuits and select specific components and sub-assembly for hydraulic and gas systems. Identify suppliers in industry and follow up contracts. Contribute to functional specifications for the complete installations and control hydraulic systems. Coordinate logistics and write assembly and test procedures. Carry out maintenance work on operational fast pulsed systems and their hydraulics across the accelerator complex. Participate in the installation of new equipment in tunnels and underground galleries. Take part in the commissioning and surveillance of the complete systems in collaboration with various CERN services. Qualification required Higher technical diploma in the field of mechanics or electromechanics, or hydraulics, or equivalent Proven experience in one or several of the following fields: electromechanical or mechanical construction, ISO geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, hydraulic systems, electromechanics, construction and assembly, maintenance of large systems. 3D & 2D technical drawing: (Catia or equivalent) Fluid-mechanics design Installation and maintenance of Actuators (Valves, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic actuators) Use of Office software packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Design of electromechanical or mechanical systems Fluid-dynamics analysis and modelling Commissioning & maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment & systems English and French Work in radiation areas Interventions in underground installations A valid driving licence Stand-by duty, when required by the needs of the Organization Work during nights, Sundays and official holidays, when required by the needs of the Organization
