Arbeitsbeschreibung:
You will be in charge of the Purchasing team in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural and international team focusing on strategic sourcing to support the development and production of high-end electrical motors and mechatronics motion systems. You will report directly to the COO. You will lead and coach a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural, international team (8 people) to actively search for long term reliable suppliers and to achieve suitable supply agreements with them, analyze critical features of components or commodities to be procured, look for suitable and alternative suppliers (2nd source) able to guarantee long term stable supply. You will provide trade off analysis between different supply options in terms of cost, risks, flexibility, technology, etc… and search continuously for cost reduction and/or other improvement opportunities. This position requires close cooperation with other company depts. like R&D, Supply Chain Engineering and Planning. Your qualifications • Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical / Industrial engineering or Masters in Business and Management • At least 10 years experience in advanced commercial negotiation/purchasing • 5 years experience of team management • Very good knowledge on strategic sourcing techniques • Knowledge in mechanical machining with conventional materials • Experience in design to cost and to manufacturability •Fluent written and spoken English, French is a clear advantage.
